2. Provision of the website and server logs

This website is provided on a server operated by factsoft ag. No external hosting provider is used for this website.

When you access the website, the web server processes technically required connection and access information. In particular, the web server logs:

• the IP address or source address recorded by the web server,
• the date and time of access,
• the requested address and HTTP method,
• the HTTP status code,
• the amount of data transferred,
• the referrer transmitted by the browser, where available,
• the user agent transmitted by the browser.

This data is required to provide the website technically, ensure secure and stable server operation, and detect and investigate technical errors or abusive access.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. factsoft ag has a legitimate interest in the secure, reliable, and technically proper provision of this website.

Under the current server configuration, server logs are rotated daily and retained for up to 14 rotation generations. Unless further retention is necessary to investigate specific security or abuse incidents, older logs are removed as part of this rotation.

The content and resources required to display this website are provided by factsoft ag itself.
